Consecrated Ancestor Staff /Opa Egun
The ancestor staff is a sacred object with the power to bridge the gap between the physical and spiritual worlds. During ancestor invocation, it is used to tap the ground to invoke the flow of their power and blessings.
We are honored to work with you to design and consecrate your ancestor staff. One of our priests will meet with you to select the embellishments, such as bells, streamers, feathers, inscriptions, etc.
A. The staff consecration will take place with you in person or online so that you may actively participate in the prayers and chanting and witness the ritual washing and sacrifice. If you have had a Roots reading, the information received will be incorporated into the design of your staff. As needed, we will provide instructions on how to use your staff. Your private consecration ceremony will be scheduled based on the availability of all parties.
Fee: $200.00 to $250.00, depending on the embellishments you select.
B. If you are preparing to receive your consecrated ancestor shrine/pot from the priest you work with and wish to have a staff consecrated at that time, we will gladly prepare it for you.
Fee: $125.00
Staff preparation will take approximately 10 to 14 business days.
A non-refundable deposit of half the stated fee is required before we begin preparations.
